An expulsion from school for any reason is a trying time for a family, let alone along with probation for a robbery, school truancy and missed curfew. This is how Blake and his family came to need the services and support offered by River Oak.

Wraparound services and Transition to Independence (TIP) was the intervention plan for Blake and his family.  Family advocates worked with Blake and his family to meet with school and district officials to get him back into school and on the right track. Blake and his family regularly attended their therapy meetings and made significant progress in open communication. Our clinicians and family advocates worked with Blake using TIP to get him actively engaged in the goals of his future. Blake and his family have reported great strides in treatment. His school attendance soared, completion of assignments, adhering to curfew and skills training were all successful.
