Information for Current and Previous Interns

It is the goal of the Internship Program at River Oak Center for Children to provide real-life work experience to psychology interns. The internship program employs a mentorship philosophy that “embeds” the interns within the agency programs, with their supervisor. This is a less traditional clinical psycology that emphasizes an ecosystemic perspective, including working with clients within their natural environment such as their home, schools, and other settings during business and non-business hours.
