Toy Drives and Giving Trees

Each year, businesses, churches, and caring individuals from all over the Greater
Sacramento area take on the role of Santa's elves by hosting toy drives and giving trees
for River Oak's children and teens. Through their efforts, hundreds of toys, games,
books, clothing, stockings, and stocking stuffers are collected to make the holidays
brighter for River Oak children and their siblings.

Toy drives and giving trees help to support Santa's Workshop, a rather unique event
that gives parents and caregivers the opportunity to shop among the donated items and
personally select the perfect gifts for their children. For most children, these may be the
only presents they receive during the holiday season.

If you would like to spread holiday cheer to the children and families of River Oak,
become an elf this year and help stock Santa's Workshop through a toy drive, giving
tree, or financial contribution.

We also invite you to think about our children and teens beyond the holiday season.
River Oak is always in need of toys and gifts throughout the year to celebrate children's
birthdays and graduations, reward a child for meeting his or her treatment goals, and
provide incentives towards meeting these goals.

Gifts for children of all ages are needed - from newborns to teenagers. For the safety of
the children, some toys and other items may be declined. To make a donation, please
