River Oak Center for Children:: Interdisciplinary team

River Oak Center for Children uses an interdisciplinary approach to give our children, youth,
and their families access to clinical staff members with backgrounds in several fields, who
work together to provide the highest quality services to our clients.

River Oak employs close to 200 individuals ranging from Ph.D. psychologists, master's level
therapists, speech therapists, and direct care paraprofessional staff. Most direct child-care
staff hold bachelor's degrees or higher. Six psychiatrists are available to all programs on a
consulting basis. In addition, River Oak employs a group of talented and motivated Family
Partners, as well as a Youth Peer Mentor, and is the only local agency using their services
throughout all of its programs.
