Referrals |
Children and families facing serious mental illnesses such as adjustment disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or trauma often require significant support and intervention. This may mean frequent therapy sessions for the child and or family, as well as support to the child or teen in the school, home or peer setting. Intensive support makes it possible for these children to remain at home and in school. All of the programs offered through the Intensive Community-based Services Division include coaching parents at how to manage children and troubled teens' behaviors. Therapists also consult with teachers and other agency partners about the well being of the child and family. Programs included in the Intensive Community-based Services Division are: |
