River Oak Center for Children: Executive Leadership

Laurie Clothier, President/CEO
Laurie is an accomplished non-profit executive with over 25 years of
experience in the non-profit mental health field. Her previous executive
positions with the Agency include, Division Director/Residential Program,
Division Director/Non-Public School, Vice President of Operations,
IT, Finance and Accounting. Laurie served as the Chief Operations Officer
from July 2008 to August 2010 before taking the President/CEO position
in September 2010. Laurie earned her Bachelor’s degree from the California
State University at Chico. Laurie is an ardent and active volunteer with
the Agency. In her role as President/CEO she is responsible for running
all facets of the business as well program development with the Board of Directors.

John Holmes, Chief Program Officer
Mr. Holmes has a Masters of Science degree in Counseling from California
State University, Sacramento, and a Masters of Business Administration
from Pepperdine University. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, he
has served in a variety of capacities at River Oak since 1998. Mr. Holmes
has over 20 years of counseling experience. He is an adjunct faculty member
at Chapman University in Sacramento in the Marriage and Family Counseling
Program.

Amy Fierro, Vice President, Outpatient Division
Ms. Fierro has worked at River Oak since 1999. A licensed Marriage and
Family Therapist, she received her M.A. from Fuller Seminary School of
Psychology. As a clinical Vice President, Ms. Fierro participates in the
implementation of agency-wide policies as a member of the Executive
Management Team. She also manages the provision of client services
and contract compliance. Collaborating with community partners and
maintaining an effective interface with a referral network are also her
primary responsibilities.

Sherri Cerles, Director, Human Resources
Ms. Cerles has served as Director of Human Resources at River Oak
since 1999. She oversees staff recruitment, training, benefits, and
compensation and helps to develop and implement agency wide policies
as a member of the Executive Management Team. Ms. Cerles is a
member of the Sacramento Area Human Resources Association and
participates as a human resource professional on a national committee.
She received her certificate in Human Resources Development from the
University of California, Davis in 2000.

Scott Becker, Director, Business Support and Operation
Mr. Becker received a B.S. degree in Business Administration with a
concentration in Human Resources Management from California State
University, Sacramento in 1994. He joined River Oak in 1995, serving in a
number of positions before becoming Director of Business Support and
Operations in 2006. In this role, Mr. Becker is responsible for the oversight
of River Oak's information technology, facilities, and business support
departments. He also helps to develop and implement agency wide policies
as a member of the Executive Management Team.
