Helping Hand Fund
River Oak's Helping Hand Fund was established on the principle that no child within
River Oak's system of care should lack basic essentials in life.

Families receiving River Oak services rely on the fund for purposes as simple as
purchasing clothing for a child, or for help in meeting even more basic but critical needs
such as food, rent, heat, or electricity.

All of the families the Helping Hand Fund supports live in the Greater Sacramento area
and are low-income; many of the parents are single mothers. One hundred percent of
funds raised for the Helping Hand Fund is directed towards providing essential and
emergency resources to children and families in need.
