There are many ways in which each of us can make a difference for a child, teen, or family
struggling with challenges to their safety, well-being, or ability to remain together.

River Oak frequently partners with the community to provide resources and opportunities to
help meet a family's everyday needs, bring smiles and joy to troubled children, strengthen
bonds between family members, and provide children and teens with experiences their
parents or caregivers could not otherwise afford.

Below are some ways in which you can get involved:

• Donate back-to-school supplies and backpacks to ready a child for the new school
year and keep them well-equipped throughout the year

• Make an in-kind donation of hygiene supplies, diapers, formula, bedding, cookware,
and other basic needs to our Helping Hand Fund

• Donate to our Activity/Scholarship Fund to help a child or teen attend an educational camp,
take piano or swim lessons, participate in a youth leadership conference, or take part in
any other experience that would enhance their skills and talents and boost their
  self-esteem

• Donate new books for children ages 1-18

• Host a toy drive or giving tree at your workplace, church, or other community location

• Donate a holiday basket for families to enjoy a traditional family feast during the
  holidays

• Make a donation to support River Oak’s wide array of innovative and research-based
  programs and services
You, too, can help a child, teen, or family in need
by getting involved with River Oak!
