- Vacation
Regular full-time employees are eligible to accrue vacation time
upon completion of 90 calendar days of employment per the following
schedules:
- Sick
Leave
Regular full-time and part-time employees become eligible to accrue
paid sick time upon completion of 90 calendar days of employment.
After 90 calendar days of employment, regular full-time, non-bargaining
employees accrue paid sick leave at the rate of eight (8)hours/one
(1) day per month. Regular part-time employees working at least
20 hours per week shall accrue paid sick leave on a pro-rata basis.
- Employee
Birthday Leave
River Oak provides one (1) day off, with pay, annually to each regular
employee for the purpose of recognizing his/her birthday.
- Monthly
Benefit Allotment
Regular full-time employees will receive a monthly cash benefit
allotment after 90 days of continuous employment to purchase benefits
or, take as cash back if the employee can provide proof of current
medical coverage.
- Medical
Coverage
Provided through Kaiser and PacifiCare. Regular full-time employees
are eligible to participate in medical coverage the first of the
month following 90 calendar days of continuous employment. Both
plans include hospitalization, prescriptions, chiropractic services,
well baby care, annual physical exam, mental health services and
substance abuse services (out-patient only).
- Dental
Coverage
Provided through Guardian. Regular full-time employees are eligible
to participate in dental coverage the first of the month following
90 calendar days of continuous employment.
- Vision
Coverage
Provided through Superior Vision. Regular full-time employees are
eligible to participate in vision coverage the first of the month
following 90 calendar days of continuous employment.
- Section
125
Regular full-time employees are eligible to participate in the Section
125 plan. This program allows you to pay for premium contributions
for employer-sponsored plans with pre-tax dollars. You also will
have the option under this program to use pre-tax dollars to pay
for daycare expenses and unreimbursed medical expenses. Unreimbursed
medical expenses would include deductibles, co-payments and other
medical, dental, vision, and chiropractic expenses that are not
covered by an insurance program. There are some restrictions and
limitations to this program.
- Life
Insurance
Life insurance provided through UNUM Life Insurance company. Regular
full-time employees are eligible to participate in life insurance
coverage the first of the month following 90 days of continuous
employment.
- STD/LTD
Short-term and Long-term disability provided through American Fidelity.
Regular full-time employees are eligible to participate in STD/LTD
coverage the first of the month following 90 calendar days of continuous
employment.
- Tuition
Assistance
Must be a River Oak Center for Children employee for at
least six (6) months prior to the beginning of the approved coursework.
Reimbursement is paid upon documentation of proof of grade or certificate
of completion. Employee must receive a passing grade (C or better)
in approved coursework to receive tuition reimbursement.
- Retirement
Plans
Retirement plan 100% funded by River Oak Center for Children for
regular full-time employees for certain job classifications after
completion of one (1) year of continuous employment. Tax Sheltered
Annuity Plan 403(b) plan available, funded 100% by employee.
